Lukavci, first mentioned as "villa Lukauz" in the urban register in 1265, holds a rich history, and the area where Vila Trate stands has long been known as "Trate," signifying a clearing or pastureland.

Vila Trate, with its captivating architectural features, originally served as an inn. Its historical roots date back to 1876, with an extension added in 1914. Remarkably, neither of the world wars affected this building, a testament to the craftsmanship of Italian construction workers who, even then, were renowned for their skill.

While staying at the villa, the walls adorned with pictures will narrate stories of bygone eras, with tales of gatherings, card games, business discussions, and the various activities that once thrived here.

Vila Trate offers five high-quality apartments, each equipped with a private bathroom, a fully functional kitchen, a washing machine, TV, Internet, and Wi-Fi access. The sight of wooden beams and antique furniture will envelop you in a comforting sense of nostalgia.

The villa boasts two well-preserved cellars, where you can savor the finest traditional wines and sparkling wines of Prlekija beneath the shelter of ancient stone arches.
